Public Events

Tickets purchased for Public events are NON-REFUNDABLE. Should you be unable to attend the event for which you’ve purchased tickets, we will (on a case-by-case basis) evaluate the situation and decide if an exchange for another event is possible. Contact us for more information regarding this policy.

Private Events
We require payment at booking. This is non-refundable. You may reschedule your event with 30 days prior for a 20% rescheduling fee. After 30 days there is a 40% rescheduling fee. Rescheduling fees must be paid at the time of rescheduling.

Cancellation and Rescheduling Clause for Venues

1. Cancellation After Ticket Sales:
If the venue cancels the event after tickets have been sold, the venue agrees to reimburse J.J. Brown Productions for 50% of the total amount that must be refunded to ticket holders and 100% of all marketing cost. J.J. Brown Productions will provide a detailed ticket report at the time of cancellation to determine the amount due. Payment must be made within 14 days of the cancellation notice.
2. Cancellation Before Ticket Sales:
If the venue cancels the event before any tickets have been sold, no cancellation fee will apply.
3. Rescheduling After Ticket Sales:
If the event is rescheduled after tickets have been sold, the venue will be responsible for refunding 50% of the ticket price for any patrons unable to attend the rescheduled event. J.J. Brown Productions will provide a list of affected patrons and the amounts due.

Merchandise Return Policy

All merchandise purchases are NON-REFUNDABLE and NON-RETURNABLE. If merchandise is damaged during shipping please contact Jennifer at info@jjbrownproductions.com.

LICENSING PACKET

Home of Extraordinary Entertainment

1. COPYRIGHT & OWNERSHIP NOTICE

All scripts, games, characters, plots, clue cards, formats, templates, artwork, branding, recordings, and related materials (collectively, the “Materials”) are the exclusive intellectual property of J.J. Brown Productions LLC and are protected by U.S. and international copyright laws.

Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, sharing, posting, recording, scanning, photographing, streaming, or use in AI platforms is strictly prohibited without prior written consent.

2. LICENSE GRANT (STANDARD)

Upon purchase, Buyer/Licensee is granted a single‑use, non‑transferable, revocable, non‑exclusive license for one (1) event only.

License expires upon completion of the event or one (1) year from purchase, whichever occurs first.
Licenses may not be shared, resold, gifted, or transferred.
Buyer/Licensee must be present at the event unless approved in writing.

3. COMMERCIAL USE & LICENSING

A Commercial License is required for any event that includes, but is not limited to:

Ticket sales or admission fees
Fundraisers or benefit events
Corporate, organizational, or branded events
Membership‑based or subscription events
Paid hosting or facilitation
Any financial or promotional benefit (profit or not)

Commercial licenses must be secured prior to the event. Unauthorized commercial use results in immediate termination and legal enforcement.

4. PROHIBITED USES

Buyer/Licensee may not:

Copy, modify, adapt, or create derivative works
Mimic or replicate structures, templates, mechanics, or layouts
Upload or input Materials into any AI or generative platform
Share Materials digitally or physically beyond the licensed event
Remove or alter copyright notices

5. AI & DIGITAL MISUSE POLICY

Uploading or inputting Materials into AI tools (including generative, translation, or content systems) is strictly prohibited and constitutes copyright infringement.

Violations may result in:

Immediate termination of all licenses
Legal action for damages and lost revenue
Permanent ineligibility for future licensing

6. DIGITAL WATERMARKING & VERIFICATION

Materials may contain digital watermarks or identifying markers. Buyer/Licensee consents to verification and audits if misuse is suspected.

7. REFUNDS, RETURNS & EXCHANGES

Digital Products

All digital products are final sale. A one‑time exchange may be offered within 14 days at Company discretion if unused and unshared.

Boxed Kits / Physical Materials

Custom‑prepared; no refunds or cancellations.
Defects must be reported within 48 hours of delivery with photographic proof.

8. SHIPPING TERMS

Shipping times are estimates unless expedited shipping is purchased.
Buyer is responsible for accurate shipping information.
Packages marked “delivered” are not refundable.
International Buyers are responsible for customs, duties, and taxes.

9. CHARGEBACKS & FRAUD

Chargebacks filed to bypass licensing or refund policies constitute fraud and will result in:

Immediate termination of all licenses
Denial of future purchases
Legal action where applicable

10. DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY

All Materials are fictional and provided for entertainment purposes only.

J.J. Brown Productions LLC is not responsible for injuries, damages, losses, participant behavior, emotional distress, or transmissible illnesses associated with events. Buyer/Licensee assumes all responsibility and agrees to indemnify and hold the Company harmless.

11. AGE & CONTENT DISCLAIMER

Materials may include fictional depictions of murder, suspense, deception, or mature themes. Buyer/Licensee is responsible for suitability, participant notification, and parental consent for minors.

12. GOVERNING LAW & DISPUTE RESOLUTION

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, unless otherwise specified by written contract. Disputes must first be addressed through good‑faith negotiation.

13. FINAL ACKNOWLEDGMENT

By purchasing, downloading, or using the Materials, Buyer/Licensee acknowledges this Packet is legally binding and carries the same force as a signed agreement.
