Don't worry... we'll be gentle. It's your first time, after all. And the good news is... you probably won't die.
At least... we don't think you will.
Welcome to the wonderfully wicked world of Murder Girl, where everyone is a suspect, secrets are everywhere, and a little murder makes for an extraordinary evening!
What kinds of murder mysteries do you offer?
We offer two delightfully deadly experiences!

Theatrical Murder Mysteries: Sit back and enjoy a live performance featuring professional actors portraying suspicious characters with scandalous secrets. You'll question suspects, examine clues, and try to catch the killer before the final reveal.

Interactive Murder Mysteries: Here's where YOU become part of the story! Each guest receives a character with secrets, motives, and information to uncover or conceal. You'll mingle, interrogate one another, exchange clues, and work to solve the murder. No acting experience required—just a willingness to have a little fun!
Do I have to participate?
That depends on the mystery!
At our Theatrical Murder Mysteries, you can sit back and enjoy the performance, although we highly encourage questioning suspects and playing detective.
At our Interactive Mysteries, you're part of the cast! Everyone receives a character to portray, and your conversations help bring the mystery to life. Don't panic! No memorizing scripts or theatrical experience required. Just read your character information, mingle, and have fun.

Can I trust the suspects?
Well... that's a loaded question!
In our Theatrical Murder Mysteries, characters won't outright lie to you, but they can dodge questions, deflect, avoid answering, and tell half-truths.
In our Interactive Mysteries, everyone has secrets! Your fellow guests may be hiding something, protecting someone, or desperately trying to keep suspicion off themselves.

Can I ask the actors anything?
Almost anything!
One quick favor at Theatrical Murder Mysteries... please don't ask the actors, "So why'd you do it?" before the reveal. If we answer, we'll spoil the mystery... and if we don't answer, you'll just think we're rude.
Either way, nobody wins.
At Interactive Mysteries, ask your fellow guests about their characters, relationships, motives, and secrets. You never know what someone might accidentally reveal!

How do I know who's a suspect?
For our Theatrical Murder Mysteries, we'll provide a suspect card featuring the characters who could be guilty. If they're not on the card, they didn't do it!
For our Interactive Mysteries, the mystery revolves around a cast of characters, and everyone has a role to play. Pay attention to the clues, conversations, and suspicious behavior around you.

Do I need to be good at acting or solving mysteries?
Absolutely not!
For our Theatrical Murder Mysteries, a little observation, some clever questioning, and a healthy dose of suspicion go a long way.
For Interactive Mysteries, you don't need acting experience. Think of it as playing a character in a giant game of Clue—except the characters can talk back!
Sometimes the best detective notices the smallest detail. Other times, someone makes one spectacularly lucky guess!

What happens during a Interactive Mysteries?
You'll receive a character packet with everything you need to play.
The mystery unfolds through rounds of mingling, conversations, and clue discoveries. Somewhere along the way, someone meets an unfortunate end.
Don't worry! Even the victim gets to stay involved in the fun.
At the end, everyone has the opportunity to make their final accusation before the killer is revealed.

Can I take pictures or record the mystery?
Photos are welcome when permitted by the host or venue, but please don't record the performance or reveal the ending to future guests.
After all, everyone deserves the opportunity to accuse the wrong person all by themselves!

What is the Top Detective Award?
At the end of the mystery, you'll make your final accusation.
Guests who correctly identify the murderer may be eligible for our Top Detective drawing.
Prizes vary by event, but the bragging rights? Those are priceless!

What should I wear?
Whatever makes you comfortable—or whatever makes you suspicious!
Some mysteries have themes, and costumes are always encouraged when appropriate. Whether you're dressed to kill or simply dressed for a night out, you're welcome.
Check your event description for any special costume suggestions.
